FV INFRA LLP, a leading tensile canopy manufacturer in Tumsar (Bhandara), designed and installed this specialized playground cover for USA Vidya Niketan. Moving away from heat-retaining metal sheets, we implemented a translucent dome tensile structure using 950 GSM Serge Ferrari fabric and Apollo ISI marked YST 210 steel. This solution provides a thermal shield against the intense Vidarbha summer while allowing 100% natural light. As a specialist tensile structure manufacturer for schools, we ensured the design was acoustically sound, eliminating the loud noise of rain associated with traditional tin sheds.

CUSTOMER REQUIREMENT

The client, Mr. Yogesh Saraf, needed a safe and comfortable environment for young students. Key requirements included: Heat Mitigation: A roofing solution that stays cool during 40°C+ summers. Cost-Effectiveness: A high-quality alternative that could compete with the budget of metal profile sheets. Acoustic Comfort: A "silent" roof that doesn't create noise during heavy monsoon rains. Safety & Speed: Installation during active school hours without disrupting classes or risking student safety. Natural Lighting: Reducing the need for artificial bulbs during the daytime.

WHAT WE DID

Consulting & Design: Collaborated with Architect Mrs. Pooja Wasnik to propose a Dome Design that offers superior structural strength and aesthetic appeal. Value Engineering: Leveraged our in-house manufacturing unit to provide a premium tensile solution at a price point more competitive than traditional metal roofing. High-Spec Fabrication: Used PVDF-coated 950 GSM fabric for its self-cleaning properties and UV block. Rapid On-Site Execution: Doubled our engineering team to complete the entire installation in under 14 days, ensuring zero disruption to the school’s academic calendar. Premium Finishing: Applied a mirror-finish PU white paint using high-pressure compressors for a long-lasting, rust-proof steel life of 30 years.

RESULT

Successfully replaced the traditional metal sheet concept with a high-performance tensile dome, reducing playground temperatures by 30-40%. The project provided a safe, UV-protected, and naturally lit play area for nursery students, completed ahead of schedule with 100% safety compliance.
