Representing the school, Mr. Akshat Goyal demanded a solution that met international safety and aesthetic standards. Key requirements included: Maximum UV Protection: Creating a safe environment for students to swim during peak noon hours. Natural Illumination: Ensuring the pool area remained bright and vibrant without harsh glare or heavy artificial lighting. Low Maintenance & High Durability: A "set-and-forget" roofing solution resistant to UV degradation and fungal growth. Strict Deadlines: Completion before the commencement of the summer vacation period.
Project Result:
Delivered a 15-year+ lifespan weather-shielded aquatic facility using PVDF Type II membrane, overcoming complex underground utility constraints.
What we did:
Our execution at the Kabir Nagar site demonstrated FV INFRA LLP’s commitment to "Engineering with Integrity": Technical Consulting: Provided detailed material analysis on PVDF membranes to assure the client of long-term ROI. Adaptive Engineering: When an unmapped drainage line blocked a primary column location, our team designed a custom cantilevered steel sub-base. This transferred structural loads safely without disturbing underground utilities or compromising design symmetry. High-Performance Fabrication: Utilized a triple-layer epoxy-zinc rich paint system on all steelwork to prevent corrosion from pool chlorine and Raipur’s humidity. DOP Standard Welding: Every joint was DOP (Detailed Operating Procedure) welded to handle high wind-loadings typical of the Chhattisgarh region. Fast-Track Installation: Met a rigorous timeline, delivering a wrinkle-free, perfectly tensioned canopy that has become a landmark for the school campus.
Project Description
FV INFRA LLP successfully engineered and installed a state-of-the-art tensile membrane shed for the swimming pool at Riverdale World School, Raipur. Collaborating with Architect Mr. Shailendra Sharma, we designed a structure that allows students to utilize the aquatic facilities year-round, regardless of Raipur's intense summer heat or monsoon rains. The project features high-yield ASTM A500 Grade B structural steel and premium PVDF-coated Type II Architectural Membrane, specifically chosen for its high translucency and 15+ year durability in Central India’s harsh climate.
