Then came the serious engineering – the structural drawings. For this project, we designed a multi-pointed entrance canopy that sort of swept upwards, like the curve of a breaking wave or maybe a modern wing. It needed a custom-built, heavy-duty frame, made from spray-painted steel, which we fabricate in-house. That’s what ensures it’s not just a pretty face; it’s rock-solid.
Installation is always the main event. It takes our dedicated crew to manage the heavy material supply and get everything taut. The fabric is tensioned across the steel, and that tight, smooth look is what gives it that incredibly modern feel. But the real transformation happened on opening night.
As dusk settled over the highway, we flicked the switch. And wow.
The lights we'd carefully placed underneath the canopy didn't just shine on it; they shone through it. The entire fabric membrane transformed into this giant, glowing lamp, casting a soft, warm light that absolutely stopped you in your tracks.
