We recently found ourselves in that silence at Jafar Nagar, one of Nagpur’s most premium residential pockets, working on a project for Mr. Dharam Chavhan. Dharam ji, a well-known name in the agarbatti industry here, had built a stunning new home and lawn. Originally, we had a comfortable month-long window. We started on November 21st, 2025, aiming for a December 20th finish. But life, as it often does, threw a curveball.
When "Panic" Becomes a Plan
Dharam ji had planned a grand inauguration for December 25th. Suddenly, due to family reasons, the date was moved up to December 15th. In an instant, every vendor on site—the glass guys, the painters, the furniture team—went into a total panic. Ten days might not seem like much, but in high-end fabrication, it’s an eternity of lost time.
Most people would have just said "sorry, it's impossible." But at FV INFRA LLP, we looked at the client’s stressed face and decided we weren't going to be the reason his big day felt incomplete. We didn't just ask our team to "work harder." We pulled in our specialized "Night Shift" crew—a dedicated batch of our guys who are specifically trained to handle precision work under heavy floodlights.
Day and Night: The Seamless Handover
The architect, Miss Awanti Ghude, was a massive help here. She helped us navigate the tight protocols of a high-end residential site so we didn't disturb the neighbors while keeping the momentum. While our day team handled the heavy lifting of the Apollo ISI marked steel structure, our night team took over the delicate fabric patterning and tensioning.
There was a real sense of brotherhood on site. You’d see the day shift handing over the tools to the night shift, sharing a quick tea, and then the sparks from the welding would start again. Because we manufacture our own components, we didn't have to wait for anyone else. We were in total control.
Finishing Five Days Early
The goal was to finish by the 14th. We actually handed over the keys on the 10th of December. Seeing Dharam ji’s relief when he realized his lawn was ready for the decorators five days before his event... that’s a feeling money can't really buy. It’s what makes the late-night coffee and the sore muscles worth it.
