Shamrock Green Hotel sits right on NH-6, just a stone's throw from the Raipur airport. It’s a massive, beautiful space owned by the Chawla family—Mr. Mandip, Mr. Sachveer, and Mr. Chanrjit. When they called us, they didn't just want a "roof"; they wanted a vibe that screamed luxury for the celebrities and performers who frequent their stage.
Honestly, some projects just stick with you because of the teamwork involved. This was one of them. Working alongside Paritosh Parekar, a sharp architect from Mumbai, and Mr. Neelkanth Agrawal, the chief engineer from Raipur, felt like a high-stakes puzzle. My team at FV INFRA LLP had to coordinate every bolt and fabric weld with Sunil Verma, the site incharge, to make sure we weren't just checking boxes, but actually elevating the resort-cum-hotel feel.
More than just a Stage Cover
The goal was twofold: a main stage canopy for high-profile shows and extra "cabana-style" sitouts where families could have dinner under the stars without worrying about the weather. Because they have a gorgeous swimming pool nearby, the whole setting had to feel cohesive. The architect, Paritosh, was focused on the "freedom of form"—he didn't want anything clunky. Meanwhile, the owners were worried about the basics: Will it stop the rain noise? I told them straight—the 950 GSM fabric we use (top-tier Sioen/Serge Ferrari) doesn't just block 100% of rain; it actually dampens the sound of raindrops. It’s what allows us to sleep at night, knowing the guests underneath are actually comfortable.
Beating the Clock (and the Smoke Gray Theme)
One of the biggest headaches we faced was the timeline. Shamrock Green is a busy commercial hub; you can’t exactly shut down a hotel for a month of construction. We were on a tight 3-week clock. To save time and maintain that "designer" look, we used Tata Steel for the structure and finished it in an Epoxy Smoke Gray paint to perfectly match the hotel’s modern theme.

It was a race against time, but we managed to pull it off even before the deadline. Seeing the "cabana" sitouts finished and ready for the evening dinner crowd was a massive win for us.
