Designing the Perfect Interior for Your Raipur Farmhouse Resort...

I was recently walking through a farmhouse property just outside Raipur, and the owner told me something that really stuck. He said, "I want my guests to feel the wild, but I don't want them to feel the dirt." It’s a classic dilemma for property owners across Nagpur and Chhattisgarh. You have this beautiful land, maybe near a forest or a quiet riverside in Bhandara or Gondia, but the moment you mention a "tent," people think of cramped sleeping bags and shared bathrooms.

That’s a perception we’ve been having a lot of fun breaking lately at FV INFRA LLP. When we talk about premium glamping units, we aren't talking about camping. We’re talking about a suite that just happens to have canvas walls.

It’s All About the "Aha!" Moment

There is a specific look on a client's face when they first step inside a Swiss Cottage tent interior we’ve just finished. They expect a tent; they find a master bedroom. Because we use a heavy-duty steel frame, we can create a footprint that is surprisingly massive.

We’re talking about enough floor space to comfortably fit a king-sized teak bed, two bedside tables, a lounge chair, and even a dedicated wardrobe. It’s that feeling of "Oh, I could actually live here," that makes these luxury resort tents Raipur projects so rewarding for us.

The Secret is in the "Rear"

One of the challenges we were really excited to solve was the bathroom situation. Most "farmhouse tents" in the past had you zip-lining your way to a common toilet block. That’s not luxury.

In our designs, we’ve carved out a dedicated rear area specifically for a modern, attached bathroom. It’s fully plumbed and partitioned, meaning your guests get the privacy of a hotel room while hearing the birds in the Satpura or Kanha forest. Combined with the shaded front veranda—perfect for a morning chai—the layout just flows naturally. It turns a piece of land in Durg or Bhilai into a 5-star destination without the mess of pouring concrete.

Beating the Heat and Rain

Living in the Nagpur-Raipur belt, we know the weather is no joke. If it’s not the 45°C sun in May, it’s the horizontal rain in July. We use a high-GSM, multi-layered fabric system that acts as natural insulation. It keeps the interior cool and the UV rays out, which honestly is what allows us to sleep at night knowing our clients' guests are comfortable. Plus, it’s 100% waterproof. We’ve seen our tents stand tall through some of the nastiest monsoons in Rajnandgaon and Ambikapur without a single leak.

Whether we are working on a private farmhouse tent Chhattisgarh project or a full-scale resort in Yavatmal or Jabalpur, we handle everything—from that first 3D design to the final structural drawing and on-site installation.

At the end of the day, a resort is about an experience. It’s about that quiet luxury of waking up under a canvas roof, seeing the soft morning light filter through, and knowing you didn't have to sacrifice a single comfort to be close to nature. If you’ve got a plot of land and a vision, let’s sit down and draw something up. You might be surprised at how much luxury we can fit under a bit of canvas.
