Phew. What a whirlwind! We just wrapped up Day 4—the big finale—at the IMAARAT 2025 Design Festival Expo right here in Raipur. Honestly, it feels like just yesterday we were setting up the stall, double-checking our tensile fabric samples.
IMAARAT is a huge deal, a four-day festival for architects, designers, builders, and all of us who are passionate about construction and interiors in Central India. It was running from December 4th to 7th at Shriram Business Park, and it truly lived up to the hype as a premier meeting place for everyone shaping the future of design and building.
Our Experience: Four Days of Real Connections
You know how some trade shows feel like a relentless sales pitch? This wasn't it. This was about genuine conversation, which is what we at FV INFRA LLP live for.
Day 1 (Thursday): The Big Start was all about that initial rush. It’s always a little nerve-wracking, but the moment we saw the architects and developers from places like Nagpur, Bhopal, and Hyderabad start walking in, the energy just changed. It was so good to put faces to names we’d only known over email and to kick off new conversations with folks from East Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Gujarat, and Rajasthan—our core service areas. Everyone was keen on what’s new, and that's where our tensile membrane structures really shine.
Day 2 & 3 (Friday and Saturday): Deep Dives and Design Talk were the meat of the event. We spoke to so many people about covering massive areas like auditoriums and shopping mall atriums without needing a million supporting columns. It was a challenge we were excited to take on, explaining how our lightweight, durable structures—made with high-quality, often self-cleaning, PVC/PVDF coated fabrics—are perfect for the diverse weather conditions across our states. It’s not just a roof; it’s a design statement that also reduces heat and lets in beautiful natural, diffused light. I mean, who doesn't want to save on electricity while making their space look stunning?
Day 4 (Sunday): Saying Goodbye (for now!) Today was different. It was less about chasing new leads and more about solidifying the relationships we'd built. There were lots of last-minute discussions, handing out final brochures, and, honestly, just a bunch of handshakes with people who felt less like clients and more like partners in crime. Seeing the excitement in the eyes of a young interior designer from Raipur or a seasoned builder from Ahmedabad as they realised the design flexibility and long-term cost-effectiveness of a tensile structure? That's what allows us to sleep at night. That's the real validation.
